Silver Coast

One of the wonders of Tuscany is undoubtedly the Costa d'Argento, a charming seaside resort that captivates at first glance with its splendid scenery. Characterised by bays and coves with crystal-clear water, the Costa d'Argento is one of the most sought-after resorts in the Grosseto Maremma. A destination for tourists from all over the world, both for the beautiful nature that distinguishes the Argentario promontory and for the presence of marinas that host luxury yachts, particularly the Marina di Cala Galera.

Porto Ercole, a delightful seaside village included in the circuit of the "Borghi più Belli d'Italia" (Italy's most beautiful villages), is considered the pearl of the Costa d'Argento, particularly for the presence of so many uncontaminated coves that extend as far as Lo Sbarcatello, an area that also became the summer residence of the Queen of Holland. Distinguished by the presence of three fortresses - Forte Filippo, Forte Stella and the Rocca - built under Spanish rule, Porto Ercole is also known for its La Feniglia beach, a nature reserve of about six kilometres, which reaches the Ansedonia hill in Orbetello.

Another famous resort on the Costa d'Argento is Porto Santo Stefano, a tourist and commercial centre which, thanks to the Valle harbour, allows access to the islands of Giglio and Giannutri. The villas in Cala Piccola, Cala Grande and Cala Moresca are highly sought after by international investors and can be reached by the panoramic road that connects to Le Cannelle in Porto Ercole, an enchanting route that attracts tourists from all over the world.

The Costa d'Argento - with its routes for trekking lovers, among suggestive paths and rich vegetation; the many Diving Centres for fantastic dives in the splendid blue and emerald green sea, as well as the presence of the Argentario Golf Resort Spa for those who like to relax after a game of golf - makes this area a collection of pleasures to be experienced.
