Magliano

Considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in the Grosseto Maremma, Magliano in Toscana is certainly one of the places richest in history.
Surrounded by imposing walls and surrounded by splendid landscapes of olive groves and vineyards, the village remains one of the most visited places by tourists from all over the world. Ancient parish churches, stately palaces and charming typical restaurants make this place magical, especially during the summer, when various events take place, including "vinellando" where you can taste typical dishes and Morellino di Scansano wine tastings.

Magliano in Toscana has medieval origins, with numerous settlements dating back to Etruscan and Roman times, including the famous Heba necropolis. It then passed under the dominion of the Aldobrandeschi of Sovana, who had the walls erected, on which it is still possible to take beautiful walks and enjoy the marvellous panorama from the gentle hills to the promontory of Monte Argentario.

In addition to Montiano and Pereta, with its splendid Porta di Ponente (western gate), Magliano is known for being part of the Monti dell'Uccellina, an uncontaminated place rich in flora and fauna that extends down to the sea with the beautiful beaches of Collelungo and Cala di Forno.

Magliano in Toscana is one of the most sought-after locations - with its beautiful estates surrounded by olive and cypress trees, the characteristic farmhouses set on the typical Maremma hills - it is still the destination of many foreign buyers who find in Magliano the ideal refuge to stay away from the chaos of the city and the stress of work.
