Once a post station for wayfarers on the Via Francigena, the farmhouse has traversed the centuries, transforming today into a charming residence or a potential fine B&B.
The restoration has preserved its original soul: basalt stone masonry and handmade bricks, an insulated roof with antique roof tiles, exposed beams and bricks, travertine floors and glass inserts revealing the period fixtures.
Indoor spaces
The farmhouse is on two main levels plus a basement. On the ground floor are three bedrooms, two converted from the old stables, all with en suite bathrooms, as well as a private sauna, a living room with a relaxation and dining area, and a laundry room.
On the second floor, connected by an external staircase with loggia and an internal spiral staircase, is the master apartment with large Tuscan kitchen, living room with fireplace, bedroom, study and bathroom. From the panoramic terrace there is a breathtaking view of the Val d'Orcia.
The basement houses a garage of about 120 square meters with service.

The property covers 2 hectares of manicured land with lawn, pine forest and picnic area.
There are about 250 tall trees and a 600 sq. m. lake (half of the property)
